Swing Dance / Lindy Hop and the Jazz Era Dances
Samantha has made film and television appearances sharing her love of Lindy Hop in The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel, Blue’s Big City Adventure, the Red Hot Chili Peppers music video "Go Robot" and others. She has traveled the world to teach swing dance in places near and far including London, Paris, India, and Costa Rica.
Contemporary / Jazz
Samantha's passion for contemporary, modern, and experimental work grew during her studies at NYU/Tisch School of the Arts Dance Department and the Salzburg Academy of Experimental Dance. Samantha has performed work by Gus Solomons jr., Deborah Jowitt, Netta Yerushalmy, and Trisha Brown and was a Vegas finalist in So You Think You Can Dance season 5.
Musical Theatre
The love of storytelling and creative play lures Samantha back to theater for pre-production creation and on-stage performances time and time again. Samantha has been a Resident Director with Norwegian Cruise Lines setting productions of Swing! (orig. dir. Lynne Taylor-Corbett), Get Down Tonight (orig. chor. John Skufca), Blazing Boots (orig. chor. Chase Benz, Liinda Garisto), and My Revolution (orig. chor. Robbie Kmetoni, Jorjas Freeman). Samantha was also the Associate Director / Choreographer of A Charlie Brown Christmas National Tour.
